A Bit About Me
Welcome to Nomnom with Nicole

I'm Nicole, an anti-diet Registered Dietitian with a passion to help others get more connected with food, health, and tackling nutrition myths, one at a time.

I always knew I wanted to be a dietitian since I was a kid because I wanted to make a career out of my favorite things which was talking, helping people, and food.

My interest in nutrition began at home. And as I watched her make the soups, she would always tell me about the different health benefits that could be derived from those ingredients. She inspired me to be curious about the role different food plays in our body!

As for my love of food, being a TCK (third culture kid), living in different countries and going to international schools with people from all corners of the world introduced me to a world of different cultures. One of the most memorable school day was always International Day because there would be a food fair representing all the different nationalities at our school with their most iconic dishes. It's always amazing to see how much we can learn from someone's culture just from the foods they have.

In my free time, you can find exploring new restaurants and trying new dishes. Every few weeks, I also enjoying inviting my friends and hosting a dinner party. Whether it's hot pot, bbq, or making dumplings, it's a great opportunity to bring everyone together!
